We specialise in luxury guided cycle tours in Burgundy, France. Read on to find out more about us, why we started the company and what we think makes us different . The tabs above will guide you through all aspects of our holiday: the location and hopefully everything you would need to know to get the most out of our Bike Tour. If there is something that you need to know that you can’t find in the site please contact us and we will be happy to help. In the meantime, make a cup of tea, put your feet up and slow down…
. . . you move too fast
Take to the saddle with Velo Velo and take it slow. There is no better way to experience France than this. Savour her riches like a fine wine.
This is serene not extreme. It’s a holiday for all, keen cyclist or not. Distances are kept to a leisurely 20 – 50k per day. We cycle mainly on canal tow paths and impossibly quiet country roads. If you want a workout we have a number of excellent, more challenging routes up our sleeves.
Our base for the week is the beautiful Ferme de la Lochere , so there’s no packing and unpacking or pressure to get to the next hotel. If you fancy just hanging out by the pool, exploring the village, taking a cookery lesson or hitching a lift in the support van for the lunchtime picnic or an afternoons cycling, you can !!!
The name of the game is relaxation. That is why all tours are all inclusive (except of course for souvenirs and meals out).
This year in response to popular demand, we have added a family friendly week and a short break option (see tour dates and prices). We are also offering a flexi option using the fantastic guest house Chez d’Eau (www.chezdeau.com) as our base where you can pretty much name your date, length of stay and itinerary. And if you have already organised your trip to Burgundy you can still enjoy Velo Velo style cycling with our day and half day tours.
Love, Lorna and Andrew, aka Velo Velo
