There are many excellent cycling tours in France and a few of those are in Burgundy. Our tour is different for four reasons:

  • Pace: Deliberately serene, to allow you to take time to stop and look around and take it all in. You will still cover some distance, but the important part is the enjoyment of the journey not necessarily the end
  • Place: The place we live, and use as a base for the tour is Marigny le Cahouët. You will stay at the luxurious Ferme de la Lochere for the week, so there’s no daily re-packing, long haul to the next hotel and unpacking again.
  • ‘A la carte’ routes:If you wake up one morning and just fancy hanging out by the pool, exploring on your own or hitching a lift in the support van for the lunchtime picnic or an afternoons cycling, you can. You cycle as much or as little as you want, its up to you.
  • All-inclusion: Its a holiday for all, keen cyclist or not. So if you have ever fancied a cycling holiday but your lesser cycled partner doesn’t, or fancied an active break but worried you can’t do the distance, this could be just right for you (both).
